I really hope people don’t fall for the scam that is airtel India roaming. I activated a day pass (INR 650) for an OTP and got billed INR 18K, when I pushed back airtel India said we are ‘waiving off’ 8K but you have to pay INR 10k. Obviously I am taking it to court.

It’s not a bug, it is a feature. Jio just doesn’t care abt the user experience cos that requires spending money on streaming tech. As long as ad $s are pouring in, it’s all good.
