And shout out to Elie Mystal who routinely cites women in the abortion rights advocacy space.

This issue needs to be raised. I know many gay and trans people who are incredibly scared about the growing anti-LGBT sentiments fueled by the culture war. People who are not from minority groups do not realize how destructive minority stress can be.

Quick note to people who want kids to have comprehensive sex education and for people designing that to have the info they need to design services and education as it's actually needed:

Your elected officials need to hear from you. They're certainly hearing from the others.

Women and girls are not the only people who get pregnant. That is a fact. So while you're on here complaining, there are trans and nb people who need abortions. That won't change. So get on board. ffs

i've been banging on about this for years. I've tried to be gentle. I've said you don't have to make a big deal out of changing your language, just do it. You don't have to feel shame for not having done it before this very moment.

Stop writing substack posts and articles that talk about Texas women being in trouble or Texs women's bodily autonomy being under siege. It's pregnant Texans. Pregnant people.

We need to have more discussions in progressive spaces about how misogyny is trivialized and not taken seriously as an axis of oppression in broader progressive discourse!

I find more often than not, GCs/ TERFs end up mocking speech patterns, typos, language differences, appearance of profile picture (especially if it's a personal photo), culture differences (often stereotyping an entire ethnic group), disabilities and mental illnesses.
