Talking about Claude today with a few fellow creators…it was like talking about working with a new partner…describing our debates and then with Claude code, that feeling of being in the weeds with someone…it’s great to feel some momentum (usually people-driven for me).

I love the slippery slope of all parenting advice on X: Let your kids use an iPad: well then you clearly have no limits on that and you’re a monster Don’t let your kids use an iPad: they will never relate to any other kids, have friends, or know any pop-culture references

Hot take: when I go to a restaurant with my kids, there’s not really adult conversation. Because I’m not there with adults. I’m there with my kids. So we talk about stuff as a family. Oh, and my kids are 2.5 yrs old so don’t tell me it’s easy 😂

Fun way to use tech with young kids: YouTube videos as prep/demos Example 1: a kid in swim lessons. Talk about what you’re seeing. Example 2: a kid learning to ski, falling down, laughing. Bonus: cast to your TV (my kids have no idea stuff can play on my phone.

If you’re not shipping, it doesn’t really matter how good the strategy is…. You have to fix the most critical points of failure ALWAYS. Which is why the job of a great product leader can often morph and change over time.

Nice clip for any product maker. (also highlights how every business is complex when you get into the details - it is useful to remember this because many in tech give the excuse “oh, my product is complex and special” - EVERYTHING is complex and it’s your job to deal with that)

I think most parents who start this get excited about a new tradition and then get stuck with ANOTHER to-do item. It takes a lot of consistency. Don’t sign yourself up for a marathon. Magic moments and traditions don’t have to look like this.

curiosity leads you to gathering a lot of inputs and advice, especially when you're doing something for the first time. wisdom is knowing when to put it all away and just execute.

Often accompanied by clear signs that they aren’t listening when you are talking / responding. Too many people get in the trap of having a conversation with themselves vs the other person. Powerful feedback you can tactfully share with someone!

I’m not sure why I hold this badge of honor, but it’s a seriously big deal for me to be able to pack a very small bag for any trip/vacation and I never want to lose that.

This was a pinch-me moment for my husband. Our twins will get on skis this season.
