It was a pleasure to attend the opening of Ex Talisman Sabre with international colleagues. #TalismanSabre2023 is our largest Aus-US bilaterally planned, multilaterally conducted exercise. This year 13 nations will participate - a fantastic opportunity to work with our partners.

Yesterday I had a great opportunity to speak with the participants of this year’s National Student Leadership Forum Poppy Laying Ceremony; Aust War Memorial highlighting how their leadership and stewardship is the future of our great Nation.

I have enjoyed being at School of Infantry this week catching up with the trainees. Well done to the staff who demonstrate the importance of foundation training and why we should understanding our history. Reinforcing why ‘The Role of the Infantry’ remains just as relevant today.
