Red Ring of Death Oh my god, I’ve been waiting for this since you started posting. This was just after I finished school, so I’d stopped arguing on the forums but I kept up with this due to morbid curiosity. Still waiting on my Stella Starchild merch tho, the world tour shirt was a banger…

A week after this promotional image was posted, Shawn then posted this “letter”, seemingly addressed to the fictional character Stella Starchild. It gives an interesting, if somewhat concerning, glimpse into Shawn’s mind & his feelings about this new character.

Red Ring of Death Shawn is a visionary. A true auteur. I remember a lot of people criticizing him for simultaneously calling Stella his daughter, sister mother, and lover at the same time. I can't say I always understood the vision, but there was always a vision, and you can't deny that.

Found some photos of Shawn Tuckley himself posing with some Stella Starchild art. I feel reticent to post these, since I know Shawn & his legal team would not be happy with them being made public. But I believe they are a compelling window into Shawn’s mind at the time.

Yes he is a convicted felon, and yes, his reasons for it were purely selfish (and likely related to gambling debts). But you can’t help but relate to Shawn’s anger towards the United States- ESPECIALLY if you’re a gamer.

The second page of “Stella Starchild in: The Youniversal Truth.” Many diehard Red Ring fans found this strip confusing, hard to read, and lacking in gaming content, critiques that would follow this project for its entire run. Still, you can’t deny Shawn’s ambition here.

Red Ring of Death #118, “Don’t You Wish? Vol. 5,” circa 2007. A hilarious joke at the expense of so called “chick flicks” that many of us guys have had to sit through! A fun reminder of Shawn’s incredible cartooning talents at his peak.

Thanks so much for this wonderful fanart! I believe if Shawn were to see these he would react with a mix of confusion and anger, but that is not likely since he is back in solitary confinement again (due to biting his visiting father)
