RNAS Culdrose welcomed back a old friend today - a visiting Sea King helicopter from HeliOperations. Pictured with a trio of Royal Navy Merlin helicopters from #824NAS & #814NAS . The veteran aircraft turned quite a few heads around the airfield and inspired a fair few dits.
Congratulations to Cdr Ed ‘Dutch’ Holland (right) who has taken over command of 814 Naval Air Squadron, #TheFlyingTigers from Cdr Amy Gaunt. He joined the Royal Navy in 2006, obtaining his ‘wings’ in 2010 as an Merlin Mk2 anti-submarine warfare observer #814NAS
