Farewell to George Newlands (pictured front) who retired today from the Civil Service after 19 years at the Merlin Training Facility #824NAS and more than 40 years' at RNAS Culdrose. He'd previously served as a Royal Navy helicopter observer.

Congratulations Classes AETQC AA23/003 & AETQC 23/008 on completing the Royal Navy Air Engineering Technician Qualifying Course within RNAESS HMS Sultan.
They now join squadrons for Phase 2b training, working on Merlin, Wildcat & F-35s.

Congratulations to these five Royal Navy observers who recently passed their basic flying training with 750 Naval Air Squadron. Next they'll learn their aircraft types - either Wildcat or Merlin (ASW or ASaC) helicopters #750NAS Ascent Flight Training #BZ chaps.

These air engineers successfully completed CPO (AET)Petty Officer Qualifying Course @HMSSultan.
Across 11 weeks, they proved their ability to manage engineering watches and workforce to deliver serviceable aircraft to flying operations, and plan and lead deployments.
