I’m so sad to read that Rebecca Ikumelo died was one of the first TNAs in the country & in my pilot cohort. This young woman proved how much could be achieved given the right career opportunity. She was a lovely person and good student and one of the 1st NA on the register. #RIP

44yrs ago I spent my first Christmas working as a student nurse. We went around the Wards singing carols in our red capes carrying lit candles! On #Christmasday consultants carved turkey on the ward & had sherry with the Sister WeStudentNurses 💙 WeNurses 💙
