School students to get a new ID called Apaar. Activists are worried Despite the government’s claims of the benefits of this move, activists told Scroll that introducing a digital registry like #Apaar was a misguided step at a time when the country was a long way from universal

Ok so This was the question asked to us by a prakhar Paramparik Vaidhya dadaji to us. He laughed (his typical signature style) as most answered wrong. The heaviest is chapati for digestion The lightest is Sheera The reason was flour & it's blending with oil / ghee.

The food & it's parameters in Ayurveda is totally different than what modern day diet & calories based criteria are ! The reason I remembered this was overwhelming levels of carb, calories, healthy etc overdo posts / videos that I have been seeing on almost everything food !

We students were served hot yummy pakoda that day at dadaji's home. We just ate joyfully as they were so yummy. We had another quiz.... About when and how of the use of oil in making pakoda batter 😂

The first teaching began with do's and don'ts while cooking and eating. Dadaji told us that when you are eating, you should simply eat without any comments. Until cooked food is there in the home, you should not make any comments good or bad. He said that food listens

When you praise one food and not the other, the other one feels bad. Hence while eating, just eat with gratitude and prayers without any judgement but lovingly. The bhaav is very important as food is very much living. How you eat and perceive it has a lot of impact on health.

The Hindu staple food is made by rishis. All items are natural, regional, season specific and different spices blend based on it's gun-dharma ... "Pathyapathya" Ex : we know where to use more methi or ajwain or hing for reducing vat & increasing it's digestion.

Hindu food recipes originally made by Rishis and not any random person ! Hence when I see people viewing food as calories etc instead of the jeevani tatva, it was personally very upsetting.
