Good news that the Labour council is standing up for local democracy. Many residents in Thames ward have told us about their concern regarding this development.

I agree that National Equivalent Vote share (NEV) is just nonsense. It's just a bit of content for pollsters and journalists. Sadly it has given some fuel to the 'coalition of chaos' line that the right wing press can use against Labour. Best ignored.
