The Comets lost to the Herscher Tigers 16-1. It was the first conference game of the season. We host the Tigers tomorrow afternoon.

The Comets lost to the Herscher Tigers 18-8. Halie Lagrange took the loss with 4IP, 17h, 8R’s, 1k. Lagrange went 3-3 at the plate with 2-3B’s.

Comet Softball lost to the Sandwich Indians 9-0. Addison Brown pitched 7inn, 13Ks. Mya Beard, Halie LaGrange, & Addison Hartman led offense w/ 1h each. Mya Beard flashed some leather out in CF. Beard had two incredible catches. Game at Ottawa Township tomorrow. Record: 1-3, 0-2

Today’s varsity softball game at Ottawa has been canceled.

The Comets lost to a talented Manteno club 15-1. Jess Janopoulos and Leah Grace each had 1 of our two hits for the evening. Comets hope to turn things around tomorrow at Manteno for game 2 of the conference series.

Comet Softball lost to Manteno 4-1. Halie LaGrange had 6ip, 10h, 4runs and 1k. Jess Janopoulos and Grace Cavanaugh each had 1 of our 2 hits. Overall, it was a solid defensive night. Record 1-4 ICE 0-4

4/8 Lady Comets lost 2 non-con games vs Pontiac & Normal West, both solid 3a teams. 1st game vs Pontiac lost 10-1. Addison Brown w/ 6ip, 9h, 10r, 2bb, 5ks. Comets had 3hits. Halie LaGrange led offense w/ 2singles & Grace Cavanaugh had 1. Game 2 vs Normal info to follow.

Lady Comets lost to Normal West 11-1. Halie LaGrange w/ 5ip, 11h, 11r, 1bb, 0ks. Comets collected 4hits. Mya Beard, Halie LaGrange, Sydney Billingsley and Jess Janopoulos each had a hit. Mya Beard hit a Solo Shot HR in the 5th Come support the Lady Comets on 4/10 vs Lisle!

Lady Comets bounced back with a win over Lisle 11-1. Addison Brown earned the Win w/5ip, 3hits,1BB, 12K’s. Halie LaGrange had 3hits(1-2b), Sydnee Billingsley had 2hits(1-2b), Grace Cavanaugh & Mya Beard each had an In The Park HR & 2RBI’s. Record: 2-7, Conf 1-4

Comets beat Lisle 7-2. Halie LaGrange earned Win w/7ip,3hits,8k’s. LaGrange, Mya Beard and Grace Cavanaugh had 6 of our 8hits. Cavanaugh ripped a line drive in the parker that would have been gone on any softball field w/a fence. She was rounding 2nd before LF got to it. 3-7, 2-4

Comets lost 1-0 against Peotone. Addison Brown fanned 8 with only 1 walk. Halie LaGrange collected 2 of our 4 hits. Record: 3-8, 2-5. Peotone and Reed-Custer both showed their support in the Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer game last night!

The Comets beat Peotone 5-1. Halie LaGrange earned the Win, striking out 6. LaGrange continues to lead the offense w/ 3 hits including a 2b, 2RBIs and 3 stolen bases. Mya Beard had 2hits, 1bb and 2 stolen bases. The Lady Comets travel to Bishop Mac on Friday, April 21st-4pm start

Comets lost to bishop mac 10-7. They came out to play and put up 4 runs in the 1st inning. Addison brown threw all 6inn w/ 6 k’s, only 5earned, 3bb. Halie LaGrange & Grace Cavanaugh led the offense. Lagrange had 3hits(1-2b) Cavanaugh had 2hits, 4RBI’s with a 2b & a HR.Record4-9

Today’s varsity softball game vs. Coal City has been postponed.  Makeup date will be Wednesday, May 3.
