Goodbye January, and hello February. It’s I Love to Read Month! During the month of February we are going to highlight books and stories that connect us, because we are truly more alike than different! Follow the thread for the showcased books! Reading Council of Greater Winnipeg ILA PERC

The first book we are showcasing is the picture book The Invisible Web: A Story Celebrating Love and Universal Connection by Patrice Karst. This is a beautiful story about how we are all connected to the ones we love by invisible strings no matter who we are.

ILA PERC Reading Council of Greater Winnipeg Day 2 of ILRM! An easy choice as February is also Black History month is the novel The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Inspired by current events, this is a powerful and gripping YA novel about one girl’s struggle for justice and identity.

ILA Reading Council of Greater Winnipeg PERC Day 3 of ILRM. Our next novel is The Marvellers by Dhonielle Clayton. A great middle years novel about 11 year old Ella, the first Conjuror to attend the Arcanum Training Institute. An amazing fantasy novel and exciting adventure.
