Kicked off UIL Academics with a successful parent meeting! Each coach introduced themselves, showcased their event, and connected it to valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom. Great work Christina Branch! Excited for a great #UILAcademics season!

Pink Out pep rally was a blast! The choir and band were incredible, the cheerleaders brought the energy, and it was great hearing our coaches celebrate the growth and achievements of our student-athletes! Looking forward to watching our Fall sports 🏈 🏐👟 finish strong.

Just watched instrument selection at Dowell and WOW—it’s part science, part magic, and just a little bit Sorting Hat. Hats off to our amazing band directors, students, and other helpers for creating such a smooth, student-centered experience. Excited to watch their journey.

Tonight we celebrated the heart of McKinney ISD—our educators. Christina was named 1st runner-up for District Teacher of the Year. Teaching is more than lessons—it’s about relationships that shape character, confidence, and futures. So proud of the difference she makes each day.
