Just in time for Earth Day! Great op-ed by FH biz owner, Rachel Kellner. “The QueensWay is a unique opportunity to connect neighborhoods and people, and give families and residents the green space we deserve.” citylimits.org/2023/04/21/opi… Aigner Chocolates

Great perspective on outdoor learning, the QueensWay and enviro stewardship from the co-principals of the Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School. Check out their great op-ed in the Gotham Gazette. gothamgazette.com/130-opinion/12…

👀 Should these abandoned rail tracks in Queens be converted into a park? The Trust for Public Land is working with the Friends of the The QueensWay to build a 3.5 mile long park that would transform one of the densest parts of this NYC borough. #sponsored by the Trust for Public Land.

Standard for NYC is 2.5 acres of park space per 1K people but in some of the neighborhoods surrounding The QueensWay there is only .21 acres per 1K people! Trust for Public Land with The QueensWay are making a 3.5mi park that would transform some of the densest parts of this NYC #sponsored

Queens will be getting a facelift soon with this 3.5 mile linear park. What would you like to see in this park? Trust for Public Land is working with The QueensWay to make this project into a reality. #sponsored by the Trust for Public Land.

TY Lynn Schulman 舒曼琳 for all of your continued support & engagement on the The QueensWay. Providing opportunities for the community (esp young people) using the QW platform is what this project is all about. Could not have done it without your help!! Cc: Trust for Public Land
