We recorded an 8:1 juvenile to adult ratio for Trans-Pecos blues. Good reproduction. Food varied but mainly insects, berries/fruit, seeds, and some feeder grain. Still food out there. Coveys were 15-30 birds and we flushed 12-20 coveys a day in cloudy weather. #quailresearch

Bobwhite quail are down 80%, Sage-grouse 70%, and pheasants 30%. The causes are clear, habitat loss and fragmentation, intensive agriculture, extreme weather, and ag chemicals (which includes medicated feed). Will your actions improve or worsen this situation? The choice is yours
