Such a pleasure to speak w/ communities across the country including: Tiny Home Takeout in Kitchener, a 15-year-old who started #PEI's 1st free community fridge, Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre on the new affordable country food box program, and to get insight from food insecurity expert Gisèle Yasmeen.
Earlier this year, Qajuqturvik Community Food Centre CFC launched their Inuliqtait Country Food Box program in collaboration with local hunters. The pay-what-you-can boxes ensure culturally appropriate food is accessible to all in the community. 🧵
