After a rather unexpected 6-week break, I came back to the lab today to find this beautifully overgrown isolate in one of the agar plates that remained on my bench. One isolate out of the thousands of our culture collection at FUTURE OAK. Such a pretty growth pattern!! 😍🧫🦠🌳
