Puzzazz I can't emphasize enough what a big deal this is. On a weekly basis, the NYT app fails to accurately reproduce the daily crossword, usually because of some delightful bit of cleverness from the constructor. Puzzazz ALWAYS gets it right.

Why Puzzazz is the best app to solve #crosswords. #9 in a Series. Puzzazz *always* recognizes cross-reference clues (like “A hint to 16-/26- and 36-Across”) and highlights both referenced clues and grid entries, on both iPad & iPhone. Yes, it shows more than one clue on iPhone!

Why Puzzazz is the best app to solve #crosswords. #10 in a Series. Zoom levels are optimized for solving. When you zoom in, scrolling is smooth and doesn't jump around as you enter letters. Want a bit more room (esp. on iPhone)? Turn on TouchWrite™ and write with your finger.

Official Puzzazz statement on The New York Times @NYTimesGames blocking our users from solving the NYT crossword in the Puzzazz app. The best crossword deserves the best app, and paying subscribers should not be restricted to the NYT app. #nytxw puzzazz.com/nytpuz

The folks at Puzzazz are just another group of puzzle-loving people who are trying to enable crossword fans to solve puzzles in the best possible way. It's absurd that apps like theirs and Black Ink should ever be perceived as controversial. We help to promote their art.

For only the 14th & 15th time in decades, I didn’t solve the #NYTXW Monday & today. Other 13 times were when I was the puzzle author. I ❤️ the puzzle and #WillShortz but with The New York Times @NYTimesGames blocking us from solving in Puzzazz, I don’t know when I’ll solve it again. #Sad!

From Hackaday: “Ms. Mason [EverQueen Mason] wasn’t simply dropping support for Across Lite, but she appears to be killing off this entire ecosystem”. How does this make any sense?! #NYTXW The New York Times @NYTimesGames hackaday.com/2021/09/24/nyt…

The Rackenfracker @mentalplaypark @puzzlereric Becky (Liari) Foggy Brume ❎ The Puzzazz app works wonderfully well on the new M1 and M2 macs. So it's now iOS and macOS. (And the work we did to handle absolutely any screen size, rather than just the known devices list, has paid off.) I wish everybody had an M-series Mac!

It’s not just crosswords. There is one solver who has told us at least 20 times over the years that they’re never solving the Puzzazz Daily Puzzle again. And yet ….

New York Times Games Christina Iverson Nice idea. It’s a shame that you don’t allow solvers to use the Puzzazz app anymore. Everyone could have access to both sets of clues for the The New York Times New York Times Games #crossword in one download. One of many fantastic Puzzazz features.

Fill Me In New York Times Games Yet again, New York Times Games runs a #crossword that the Puzzazz app can support easily while the #NYT app fails. It's mystifying. We helped the NYT for free for many years, until they blocked us. We've offered to work with them, but it looks like they'd rather have a broken app.
