When I started college, I always thought I’d be a medical doctor. Fast forward many years later, I’m working towards becoming a different type of doctor, but I still would never have thought I’d end up as a biochemist studying protein folding. Here’s to my first publication!

Humbled to be apart of the Stephen Fried JHU and to be a recipient of the 2020 Biophysical Society Virtual travel award. Looking forward to giving my talk on the effect of molecular chaperones on the refolding of the proteome!

Prior to starting my PhD at Hopkins, I volunteered for a year as an Americorps VISTA at NYC FIRST, an organization dedicated to promoting STEM education in NYC. Thankful for the role they've played in my life and can't wait to see how they continue to help others grow!

Happy to announce that my first paper as a graduate student is finally out! Here, we discover that many proteins are unable to return to their native structures upon refolding! I'd like to thank my Professor Fried Stephen Fried JHU for his constant support. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

As a first generation immigrant myself, I remember the difficulties of finding a research lab. A big shoutout for all the amazing work the undergrads accomplished through the inaugural FiGUREs program Stephen Fried JHU. #undergradresearch #JohnsHopkins #jhuchem hub.jhu.edu/2022/02/02/ste…

Great time grabbing lunch with Margaret S. Cheung Ph.D. and the Stephen Fried JHU members Philip Philip To, April and Atharva! #PS36 Margaret also treated us to churros quickly rising to the top of my favorite collaborators list 😄😄
