I was so excited to accept the Child Care Champion Award from Virginia Promise Partnership this morning! Quality child care is so incredibly important for our kids' development and our workforce, and I will continue to support affordable, quality child care for all.

Last week, I attended a briefing on the Economics of Early Childhood Education by Virginia Early Childhood Foundation and the Virginia Chamber. With ARPA funds, Virginia has made deep investments in affordable, quality early child education, and we need to find sustainable, long-term funding sources for ECE.
