Being a woman in war- Imagine being pregnant & running for your life. Imagine giving birth in a tent. Or imagine being on your period, living with over a million people, many in makeshift shelters. Imagine being a doctor and a mom, and your kids ask if they're going to die.

Academics are boycotting a leading gender studies journal owned by New York-listed publisher Wiley after its editors and policies were changed in what they characterise as an “anti-woke” drive against radical views in the pursuit of profits. ft.com/content/603706…

I just resigned from Wiley Human Resource Management journal as special issue editor. No more free labour as they to fix their financial woes by exploiting.

It's a violent attack... but we are fully supported in working towards a future where academic decisions inform academic scholarship. So proud of the those editors who walked and those authors who stand in solidarity. For those who need their papers published, keep going!!!
