Obviously this is a setback for TobaGrown and the people of MB. That said, Jack Lloyd and I are working on the appeal now. But judicial solutions to bad laws are hard to come by. This awful conservative-created prohibition should be lifted by the new Manitoba's NDP government.

Appreciate the opportunity yesterday to speak at Cannabis Council of Canada Grass on the Hill event alongside MP Patrick Weiler. Knowing that sound cannabis policy is being handled by leaders like him is such a great feeling. 20 years ago I never would have imagined we’d see this.

“Screaming during vomiting” is not unique to the vomiting of cannabinoid hyperemesis, nor can we say “screaming” is mechanistically attributable to THC (and there’s not even a mechanism for the vomiting fwiw). Let’s stop trying to make new perjoratives for people who use drugs.

Only 0.02% of ppl crossing illegally into the US have been found to possess any fentanyl. In 2022, 88% of fentanyl trafficking convictions were for U.S. citizens; almost all foreign fentanyl is brought by US citizens through ports of entry. The lie (& the racism) is intentional

A lot of Jews are sacred because we’re wondering how many people think like this but just haven’t decided to be open about it. How many of our friends think like this? How many of our neighbors? How many in our communities? You can call it paranoia. I’d call it experience.

If you sit at a table with 10 nazis, there’s 11 nazis at the table, and this place has way more than 10 nazis on it. I can’t be part of something that makes money from platforming Nazis and reinstates bigots. See you at the big blue sky or maybe somewhere else. Adios twitter.
