This Lent, let’s renew our commitment to be men and women of prayer, bringing our worries and cares, joys and sorrows to God.

We are looking for our happiness in the wrong places — in places that don’t include God. And Jesus is reminding us today that only God alone can make us happy — only he can give us the living water.

And when you pray tonight…pray for alignment. Be able to identify the things that align with your goals and aspirations. It will save you from wasting time on things that will result in deviation. Always ask yourself, “is this in line with where I want to be?” If not, then stop.

And when you pray tonight…pray decisiveness. You need to have courage to make decisions, otherwise people will decide for you. There’s nothing more dangerous than giving people power over your life. You are the Executive in your life. Decide to have a good life now, you got this

I pray that I don’t build a wall around myself and prevent good people with pure intentions from entering my life because of issues created by people I loved that betrayed my trust.

And when you pray tonight…pray for rescue. We never really know people’s intentions and only find out when it’s too late. May God rescue you from people who plot while laughing with you. May He rescue you from people who provide a safe space for gossip and negativity.
