A big thank-you to Evelyn Community Primary School for hosting Young Instrumentalists of Prescot yesterday. It was wonderful to hear such a variety of music from talented primary school pupils from across Knowsley.

It's already Day 7 of 10, and tonight we're excited to welcome back Wirral-based ceilidh band Two Left Feet for a Barn Dance (7pm, St Paul's Church, Bryer Road).

The final weekend of this year's Prescot Festival of Music & the Arts is upon us. Join us for jazz with Phil Shotton on Friday, behind-the-scenes secrets of the Shakespeare North Playhouse and songs from the shows with BOST on Saturday, and South Liverpool Orchestra on Sunday.

A joy to see the wonderful Kate, among many others, ordained Deacon today. What a gift she is, and will continue to be, to God's Church. Kate was on placement with us at Prescot Parish Church last year and won the hearts of everyone she met. God bless you, Kate.

Our new Liverpool Cathedral Junior Choir Knowsley is launching in September. The choir is for children in Knowsley aged 6-12. It will rehearse on Tuesdays 4.30-6pm at Prescot Parish Church. The children will perform across Knowsley and at Liverpool Cathedral.
