Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay. A day for thanksgiving for all that God has created. A day for lament for all that is lost or threatened. A day for commitment to do all we can to care for & restore creation.

A prayer for #WorldOceansDay: Triune God, you brought order from chaos, shaping the seas and filling them with life ....

On Sunday, young people from the UK will start their pilgrimage from Cornwall, site of the G7, to Glasgow, site of COP26. Pray for them as they prepare ... and join the launch service in Diocese of Truro Cathedral on Sunday.

So wonderul to see the beautiful pictures of creation and know that this group is faithfully walking and praying. Thanks so much, Judith Allinson, for sharing!

Now is the time for our most intense prayer. So much is at stake. Praying for exhausted delegates and others working to push the negotiations towards #climatejustice. May God give them wisdom and strength.
