Then, Jeremy Harrison heckles while the assembly is trying to move forward with proceedings. The speaker asks him to apologize and he storms out like a huge baby.

We have the longest wait times in Canada. When asked the Minister said - into a MICROPHONE:

'Yeah, I don't know why.'

Does he not care? Or is it to the benefit of lobbyists and his Party's donors to not ask any questions?

980 CJME Please ask questions as reporters. Why would it have to be extended? Isn’t the time being affected just volunteer time? What would be the reason to extend the school year? How would you do with teachers contracts ending in June? Start with these.

Could it be because the board chair is a Saskparty candidate? So much bad faith bargaining that it's hard to keep up.

Call on board chairs to show respect for teachers and dismiss this propaganda.

A danger of Bill 63. Govt has rendered boards powerless mouthpieces.

Ed critic Matt Love asking if taxpayer dollars still funding Qualified Independent Schools that use this textbook as a learning resource.

It posits humans & dinosaurs coexisted & in fact still do, citing Loch Ness as proof.

This budget year, funding to QISs went up. Again.

Government: Union leadership is blocking the opportunity for members to have a voice.

Reality: Teachers had full input into the asking package and voted in favour of sanctions. Our 'union leadership' is comprised of teachers, voted in annually by our members—all teachers.

Indefinite work-to-rule starting Monday thanks to Saskatchewan Party who refuses to ensure that all SK students have a great public education.

Direct the blame where it belongs - a govt who opened negotiations with billboards and have no interest in good faith bargaining.

An MOU says we will figure the rest out after our 1st pit stop - the election. Our working conditions are our student learning conditions. Right now, we are packed in like a clown car & we are all a little hangry. Teachers & students deserve better. /Fin

All we ask is that there'll be enough gas in the tank & everyone is fed (over the next 4 years). A contract does this, and Binding Arbitration is a step in the right direction.

An MOU gets us on the road with a tank of gas and some Timbits.

Some don't understand why we push for binding arbitration and for details to be in a contract.
And so here is my analogy.

It's like going on a roadtrip. The STF isn't looking to hold the credit card (Government), or even decide what to buy on the road (SSBA).

Some are suggesting the STF is looking to control the purse strings. We are not.

Some are suggesting we have already won with the Memorandum of Understanding, the money for special projects that will help a very small portion of our students, & the budget yesterday.

And the countless teachers, parents, volunteers, and businesses who support these AND OTHER extracurricular (and curricular-adjacent) activities that are supposed to happen.

SO there are lots of upset people. And some people are starting to turn on Sask teachers.
