I don’t know how Meara pointing out Kevin Doherty’s lobbying success is character assassination. He got the company he was working for a $6 million sole sourced contract. He could put that on his resume as “lobbying well done.”

I think if an NDP MLA was dumb enough to send texts to the speaker undermining their authority, they’d deserve to be lambasted and told to grow up. As the speaker said, if you have a problem, stand up in the house and say it.
