Today I gave a lecture on the evolution of the nervous system for @cephres tomorrow I will give one on the cells of ecosystem functioning for the European Marine Board : two VERY different types of cells for very different audiences! An effort towards holistic Science! Lots of fun

First session is moderated by Ian Gleadall The first talk is presented by G. Sanchez entitled "Genome skimming clarifies the evolutionary relationship of bobtail squid". Following by "Deciphering cephalopods along south coasts of India using genetic markers" by S. Vargheese.

H. Judkins presented a very interesting talk entitled "Molecular tools are contributing to the discovery of new cephalopod species in the northern Gulf of Mexico". Also we had a talk by M. Moldovan about Adaptive evolution at mRNA editing sites in soft-bodied cephalopods.

Now, R. Fonseca is presenting her talk entitled "The giant squid genome project" #CephRes2020 #CephRes
