Today is National Police Remembrance Day. This year, Constables Rachel McCrow, Matthew Arnold and Anthony Woods will be remembered with touchstones added to the National Police Memorial Wall, joining 823 others whom have also tragically lost their lives.

The Premier and Police Minister have responded to the PANSW's calls for a stronger stance on knife crime. Next week, a Bill will be introduced into the NSW Parliament to introduce laws similar to those in Queensland that target knife-related crime and enhance public safety.
