#AskingAutistics how do you handle the changing of the seasons? For me, even the change from day to night is difficult because of the sensory transition. I build specific routines for each season and part of the day to help me regulate.

Love seeing companies recognizing the unique talents neurodiverse people bring to the workplace and working to ensure we are supported!

Thank you for letting me be a part of this great piece! Such great conversation about neurodiversity in the fitness world and making gyms accessible.

#ActuallyAutistic executive functioning tip: if you have trouble starting/stopping a task break the day out into blocks of time. Assign each task a specific block. This helps to budget time management and not spend all day on one thing. Ex: I check all emails in the morning.

As an #ActuallyAutistic person, sensory overload plays a huge role in my executive function ability. I may procrastinate on certain basic tasks like grocery shopping bc the sensory overload is so overwhelming. Doing dishes also causes sensory aversion for me.
