I worry about this statement. Many people are desperate to remain in Australia, and are contributing to Australian society quietly in their daily lives, behind the scenes. They shouldn't have to be filmed taking-on a serial killer to be welcome in Australia.

I know this isn't the take away - but isn't it something that Australian media can cry poor when freelancers ask for minimum rates, then spend $100,000+ on rent, drugs, sex workers and steak for just 1 accused rapist

Private schools don't take pressure off the public system - they suck resources and students from it.

Labor should immediately end government overfunding of wealthy private schools and redirect that money to the public schools that desperately need it.
