Due to expected inclement weather, all Pickens County Schools will be having a digital learning day tomorrow, January 16th. District offices will open at 10:00 a.m. All after school athletics, programs, and extracurriculars are also cancelled.

So proud of the Pickens County Dragonettes Basketball & Pickens Basketball teams for advancing to the GHSA Sweet 16! What an atmosphere & show of support by the Dragon Nation at Pickens High School tonight!

The Nettes season comes to an end in the sweet 16 with a loss to Hebron Christian. We put up the most points of any team in the country against the nations #11 team but it wasn’t enough. The final game for our amazing senior class: Ashaela, Bella, Caroline, Emery B., Emery S.

So proud of these young ladies! Keep your heads held high. You represented the Dragon Nation well!
