Congratulations to Tammy Duncan, from Jasper Middle School, for being named Pickens County School District's 2024-25 Teacher of the Year!!

Speech Pathologist Day serves as a day to raise awareness about communication disorders. Speech-language-hearing pathologists provide life-changing services for many children affected by these disorders and advocate to ensure the student has what they need to be successful.

Congratulations to Jackson Hosmer and Emily Caro for placing 2nd in the GA TSA Drone challenge, and Sosanna Cluley for winning a Silver Achievement Award. All students qualified to compete at the National TSA Leadership Conference.

We all know that our school attendance is a powerful predictor of student outcomes. That is why PCSD wants to congratulate Harmony Elementary for having the Best Student Attendance for the month of April.

Lunch meals will be offered free to children 18 and under this summer through PCSD's Nutrition Department via PJHS at the kitchen door entrance from 11:30 to 12:00 or PHS Fieldhouse in the parking lot from 11:00 to 11:30. Please see our website for more details.

May 23rd marks the last day of classes for all Pickens County School District students. We hope our students, staff, and families have a wonderful summer break and we look forward to seeing you all return in August.
