Practice? We talking about practice? First time all season since week one that we had back to back practices. Finally had time to fix some things. This team is tough and gritty. No quit. Go Blue Flame!!

Heading to Walhalla tomorrow for scrimmage vs Walhalla and Liberty. One of the few times all summer we will have majority of our core returners available. Looking forward to it. Go Blue Flame!

Little bit of research. What percentage of your baseline out of bounds plays result in a score? Are they worth running/asking your guys to learn more plays or should the goal just be to get the ball in and run your half court offense?

Bless the coaches who hold all kids accountable for grades, conduct & behavior. Never doubt that choosing discipline over a win is the right thing. It matters. That example says that regardless of how good a player is, he/she will be held to a very high standard. That’s powerful!

Just finished my 29th year in the business. Over the past few years, I’ve heard the complaint from AAU coaches that HS coaches don’t support AAU. I fully support AAU done the right way. But don’t play in meaningless tourneys in June. Unfair to make our players have to choose.
