Stumbled across this podcast from Third Sector Lucinda Rouse Emily Burt about staff mental wellbeing in the charity sector.

Mostly it's social justice charities I work with, directly or through others eg Lloyds Bank Foundation

it's a really live topic. Recommend it ⬇️

Decades of underinvestment have led to 1 in every 52 children in Blackpool being in care.

This is what happens when cuts to prevention are combined with appalling levels of child poverty.

This announcement could have huge implications and potentially uncover other miscarriages of justice.

Its timing is no coincidence. A major review of the CCRC's handling of Andy Malkinson's case is imminent and they are unlikely to come out of it well

A mum who battled depression decided to help others by fostering 15 children from different backgrounds for the last 18 years. Sharon who also has 2 kids of her own says she ‘saw how people were treated when they were ill’ & wanted to advocate for those who aren’t supported 👏🏾👏🏾
