We are modernising the UK's approach to international development. Yesterday with Emma Reynolds for Wycombe 🌹 I joined the launch of an industry-led taskforce to unlock private finance for climate and development projects in emerging markets.
Together with African Development Bank Group, the UK is working to get more private finance into Africa to support economic growth. I look forward to co-hosting the African Development Fund Pledging Conference alongside President Sidi Ould Tah.
