Now heard David Boulter of tindersticks new album on Clay Pipe Music - part of a most remarkable triptych of albums about growing up in Nottinghamshire in the 1960s and 1970s, full of warm, fuzzy memories of the places we once lived. Strongly recommended.
Looking forward to this from Clay Pipe Music as well. David Boulter from tindersticks is a brilliant musician, these tales of life in St Ann's in inner city Nottingham in the 1960s/70s will be well worth anyone's time.
Marking season for academics (though it never stops) so needing suitable ambient listening. This from mankymusic aka Llyn y Cwn will do nicely... drones hewn from ancient stones.
