Even when we've won this season we've been rotten to watch. If the owners want UCL next season then they need to consider an immediate change & hope for a bounce. I desperately wanted the manager to turn it around but... bottom of the league 😔 it's not getting any better.

Well done to Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral for making a clear statement distancing themselves from the cosplaying Christians at UKIP

Billy Liddell scored his 228th and final goal for Liverpool FC on 5 March 1960. He was aged 38 years 55 days. Liverpool beat Stoke 5-1 that day and an opener was scored by a new LFC hero, Billy's successor: Sir Roger Hunt. If only he could play a few more years under Shanks...

It’s the anniversary of one of the most x-rated first touches in the history of association football. Robbie Fowler. Brann Bergen. 1997. Despicable. Some viewers may find this scene offensive.

Not great but 1 nil isn't irretrievable. Being behind for the 2nd leg usually brings the best out of Anfield. But, to be honest, if we're struggling with these, not sure how far we're going in this anyway.

Reflecting on this game & the season really. We just don't have an identity anymore. I fucking adored that electric press under Klopp. We didn't win every trophy. We had some average seasons. But we knew the plan &, importantly, we were actually fun to watch.

Completely, inexcusably abject from Liverpool - the worst result of a horrible season. It may well be the case that this league no longer allows you to play good football, but ineffectiveness isn't compulsory, too. How can Arne Slot possibly make the case to stay this summer?

Can't celebrate goals because they'll find a way to rule them out. Can't celebrate tournament wins because they might be overturned months later. Can't believe things play out fairly because of financial cheating. Litigation rules. The actual football is now largely irrelevant.

7-0 - Eddie Howe tonight becomes the first Englishman to manage against Barcelona at the Camp Nou since Gary Neville, who lost 7-0 with Valencia in February 2016. Memories.

People said Palace are shit in Europe. They called us embarrassing. Well, we just narrowly beat the 2nd best side in Cyprus. At the 3rd attempt. In extra time. After they went down to 9 men. Think a few apologies are owed.

Just on the obsession with Liverpool being "outrun" Liverpool were "outrun" in 26/38 Premier League games in 2021-22. They got 92 pts that season. The amount of running you are doing is far from the most important factor.
