Ever wondered who believes gender research? I did too, so I ran an online experiment that was published earlier this year. It revealed a divide: men view findings on workplace gender inequality less positively than women. This could be a major barrier to knowledge diffusion.

Excited to share my latest working paper--with fab coauthors Robert Flynn, Raviv Murciano-Goroff, and Jiusi “Josie” Xiao --about the impact US-China tensions have had on three dimensions of science: STEM graduate student cross-border movement, cross-border knowledge flows, and productivity.

Bonita Das and I had the opportunity to interview Leandro Pongeluppe about his most recent ASQ article. It is very compelling work that helped me better understand the relationship between society and entrepreneurship. Enjoy! asqblog.com/2025/03/10/pon…

Very happy to see this in print! Mergers are often justified by cost efficiencies. But do merging parties always have the incentive to pass these savings to consumers? 🧵👇

Wow! This project looks amazing. In it, three scientists at Columbia, Michigan, and Maryland introduce VRscores: a measure of the partisan leanings of employers in the United States. The dataset is constructed by linking U.S. voter registrations to online worker profiles.
