Great to meet with Neil O'Brien today, talking eyes and what primary care can do to help tackle the patient backlog. Looking forward to more conversations and collaboration.

As it’s the Easter weekend, here are three recently spotted optical TV Easter eggs. Two from the Mandalorian and one from Lockwood and Co. Who knew optometry kit made such good props!

I joined the optical body session on social media yesterday. There were some interesting and thought provoking debates. I’d recommend all registrants consider giving up a little of their time to take part and help shape the standards review.

I’m thinking of starting a (non) secret society, with this cool pin badge as the way to recognise members. Who’s in? etsy.com/uk/listing/145…

Another NOC complete and the chance to present some fun, challenging and interesting sessions. The one with Daniel Hardiman-McCartney MBE on AI & Oculomics was a particular highlight, but I enjoyed them all. #NOC23

It was a pleasure to contribute to the recent College of Optometrists review of the Guidance for Professional practice and very kind of Daniel Hardiman-McCartney MBE and others to send a small thank you. The updated guidance launches on Monday 11th December and has some very important updates.

Did you know that Howard Collins and I are leading a cool little peer review at 100% Optical this year? We'll be discussing brain-related cases at 5pm on Saturday 24th Feb - be there or be square 🟨 🧠🧠🧠
