Trust that the rep is doing their homework, preparing and investing in themselves and are going to represent the company in the right way. And finally, trust that they are going to do the best job and be there for their team. #techsalesinsights

Empathy is easy to determine, because they ask a lot of questions, finding the root cause of the problem, and then create a solution that focuses on the customer's pain. Ask questions to the point you begin to feel uncomfortable. #techsalesinsights

When it comes to anticipating the success of a sales rep, I'm always looking to see if they did their homework before they even showed up. Failing to even look you up on LinkedIn is crazy. #techsalesinsights

Are they motivational? Can they hire and inspire top talent. Are they constantly looking to improve. I can usually tell quickly if a leader is simply calling it in. #TechSalesInsights

A6- For me, there are really 2 things for a tech Sales VP to be successful. 1. Do they have a discipline process/methodology 2. Are they able to balance strategic/longer-term thinking with short term/tactical execution #TechSalesInsights

A7- My advice for succeeding at a VC-backed startup: 1. Find something you are personally excited about. 2. Find a culture you are proud to be a part of. 3. Make sure there is a large marketing opportunity. Keep the bigger picture in mind. #TechSalesInsights

1. AI/ Machine Learning, Security and DevOps 2. The impact the culture on the people both professionally and personally and they enjoy who they work with. 3. Size of the problem, global issue, if successful can you build a large company around it.
