We cannot underestimate how powerful social pressure is in communities.

At the end of the day, making black voters comfortable with voting Republican starts with the Republican Party being persistently present in communities it has been MIA in for half a century.

Yep, how black voters poll and how they vote are two very different things because Democrats have GOTV infrastructure in those communities, Republicans do not and whatever gain there is will be organic at this point.
