One of the joys of lidos is that each is unique. The three opening this year are equally distinctive: Sea Lanes sparkling on the seafront in #Brighton; the Georgian splendour of Cleveland Pools; and #Hull's Albert Avenue, right on the doorstep of its community. #placemaking

As well as the opening of new or rescued lidos in Brighton, Bath and Hull, we’ve seen other lidos reborn this summer. Ware Priory Lido and Northcroft Lido are both looking very fine indeed following major refurbishment by Ware Town Council and West Berkshire Council. 👏 #YearOfTheLido
