It's rare to be able to capture in a single image both this government's utter authoritarianism, and its absolute heartlessness towards the poorest and most vulnerable members of our society!

Personally I'd keep defence spending at 2% of GDP, the required amount for NATO membership, but I would reduce the amount we spend on nuclear weapons and shift the investment to our conventional armed forces.

This Conservative government has left our NHS to rot, with patients and staff suffering from rodents and bugs gone wild.

They must act now by bringing forward emergency funds for crumbling and unhygienic hospitals.

Our NHS deserves better.

I've just listened to this podcast. Will Hutton once again proves that he is one of the greatest thinkers in British politics. A synthesis between socialist ethics and enlightened individualism is needed now more than ever. A revival of social liberalism is long overdue.

Every poll shows that the Conservatives are out of the race in London. But Sadiq Khan doesn't deserve to win.

If I had to sum up liberalism in a word, it would be generosity. Generosity of spirit in the form of mutual sympathy and empathy towards your fellow human being. It’s from generosity that all other liberal values (such as individual freedom, equal rights & social justice) spring.
