Katelyn Caralle And why would you show photos of detained immigrants? Most of the people affected by their policy are US Citizens.

These are appropriate photos:

To make this clear, I support all communities within the immigrant community. This is the chance for those that deemed inadmissible due to IIRARA to have a chance at protection.

- DACA has a work permit & protection from deportation.

- Those with only 1 unlawful entry have a waiver so their USC spouse can adjust their status.

- Military members are able to adjust for their spouse under PIP

Those under permanent bar do not!

Laura Loomer VERY MISLEADING headline and photo from the New York Post.

US Citizens are pushing Biden for this policy for their spouses.

We believe that US Citizens must be allowed to live in the US w/ their spouses, no matter where the spouses r from.

Protect American Families seems obvious. Let spouse live together in the US. How simple yet not possible for 28 years for 1 Million US citizens
It's never too late to do a right thing

Daily Caller These people pictured at the border are not spouses of US citizens who have already been in the country for DECADES without being able to get legal status. People who have been here are not at the border. Let's try to be more accurate with reporting please.

jophus Xakc KSL American Families United Yes exactly! Thank you for understanding! We are doing our best to make that happen and this extension of the parole in place program could help spouses like mine to gain some kind of status!

jophus Xakc KSL Btw those im mentioning are undocumented spouses with no criminal history. The only thing stopping them from gaining any status is the 10 year bar for re entry and permanent bar for misrepresentation which was passed in the 1996 IIRIRA law. 🫤

American Hound Congressman Chuy García President Biden Because lots of undocumented spouses of US Citizens cannot apply for a green card due to outdated immigration laws like 10 year reentry bars or permanent bars due to misrepresentation at any age even if the event occurred to the person when they were a minor…

🇺🇸MissMarz1776🇺🇸 Most US Citizens support this policy because we believe that US Citizens should be able to marry who they want AND live in their own country.

Families want to do it the “right way” and fix the problem. That’s what this is.

Collin Rugg This is not legal status! It’s parole in place!!! It’s only protection for those 1.1 million spouses of US citizens. It’s time he does something for those that have contributed to the US for decades; these people own houses, pay taxes, have businesses, etc.
