#wcsedchat A1- I plan to make an effort to thank teachers more often. Sometimes I think teachers have been taken for granted. I hope that is never the case again!

#wcsedchat A2- I hope that we have learned that no two students are the same. Different circumstances, surroundings, instructional tools, social and emotional needs etc. have to be acknowledged to truly make education equitable.

#WCSEdChat Q1- What is your biggest takeaway from the 2019-2020 school year?

A1-I am always going to remember the commitment that #WeAreWatauga showed the community through this tough time. The leadership, and educators took a tough situation and made a lasting impact on the community as a whole. #WCSedchat

A2- I simply want to be remembered as a proud educator that CARES and planted the idea that each child has the ability to succeed. #WCSedchat

Q2- Cooperative learning has been beneficial. Using "breakout rooms" online and groups in person have been ways for students to work together for joint success. #WCSEdChat

Q3- Remote learning/teaching has required us to view the whole child and their experiences. WE have had to create assignments that allow equal access to all students no matter what they "have" or where they live. #WCSEdChat
