#wcsedchat A1 Other than parents, teachers have the ability to make the greatest impact on a child's life. They have the ability to give students the knowlede and mindset needed to be successful in society.

#wcsedchat A1 When people ask you what you do for a living and you say "I am a teacher!" That means you are changing the world. YOU ARE A DIFFERENCE MAKER!

#wcsedchat A2 I am grateful for the strength and adaptability of Watauga County Schools staff members and their ability to overcome obstacles to provide and create positive learning experiences for the students.

#wcsedchat A1- I plan to make an effort to thank teachers more often. Sometimes I think teachers have been taken for granted. I hope that is never the case again!

#wcsedchat A2- I hope that we have learned that no two students are the same. Different circumstances, surroundings, instructional tools, social and emotional needs etc. have to be acknowledged to truly make education equitable.

A1-I am always going to remember the commitment that #WeAreWatauga showed the community through this tough time. The leadership, and educators took a tough situation and made a lasting impact on the community as a whole. #WCSedchat

Q2- Cooperative learning has been beneficial. Using "breakout rooms" online and groups in person have been ways for students to work together for joint success. #WCSEdChat

Q3- Remote learning/teaching has required us to view the whole child and their experiences. WE have had to create assignments that allow equal access to all students no matter what they "have" or where they live. #WCSEdChat
