What’s happening in Asbury and other college campuses is not “Revival”. Anytime you see Revival, sun is dealt with and confessed. People who got close to God got real small and quiet. Think of Isaiah, “Woe is me”. Satan has his churches too, never forget that- Rev 3:

We had a blessed Resurrection Sunday! 4 precious souls saved today! Evidence that He has risen is still showing today! How? Sinners are saved! Praise the Lord for victory over death and sin!

I’m so incredibly blessed that God gave me this amazing lady!

I started reading this book last week. Many people reflect on the last words of their loved ones. One of my Grandma Tharp’s last words to my dad was, “Make sure you and your siblings stay close.” My dad has honored her request. Much can be learned from the Lord’s last words.

The moment the Christian starts believing a politician is the hope for America, they’ve been deceived. The hope for America has ALWAYS been THE GOSPEL. The Gospel can only bring hope if it is shared.

The world will tell us “As long as you’re happy, that is all that matters.” The Bible doesn’t call us to be “happy” all the time but it does call us to be HOLY all the time.

The Gospel is still the answer to people’s problems! If we believe this, it SHOULD motivate us to action! A Christian without tracts is complicit to the chaos and pandemonium that happens in this depraved world. Let’s be the light that Jesus has called us to be!

5 statements that Jesus never made: 1. Follow your heart- Jeremiah 17:9 2. Be true to yourself- Matt 16:24 3. Believe in yourself-John 14:1 4. Live your truth- John 18:37-38 5. As long as you are happy, that’s all the matters- John 8:29 These are mantras that the world embraces

If following after the Lord isn’t changing you, you’re probably not following after Him in the first place. God help us to be the DIFFERENCE in this world!

I have thoroughly enjoyed being with my new church family. Trident Baptist Church is an amazing group of people. We have already felt at home. We are anxiously counting the days to be back for good

Our first Sunday! Praise the Lord for 6 saved today and 1 for church membership! Our theme of our church this year is “Gain Ground”. We were challenged by God’s Word to keep marching and take more ground in our lives and in this world. The King is coming!

I had the wonderful privilege to lead a lady to the Lord and prepare her for baptism tomorrow. The blood hasn’t lost its power!

Never forget, preach to the bruised and broken, you always have an audience!
