Our global expert on ancient Near Eastern art, archaeology & culture, Prof. Javier Álvarez-Mon, presented an analysis of the winged ‘guardian angel’ from Pasargade, Iran, in: “Gateway to Paradise: Genesis of Persian Art & the New Globalization” at the DHA Research Seminar today.

We were thrilled to welcome year 12 students from Al Amanah college on campus last week for our very first #ModernHistory program! Students explored the Macquarie University History Museum, heard from Keith Rathbone on fascist Italy, and analysed archival sources in our interactive workshop.
