Happening today: Launch of #InterPartyWomenPlatform: This seeks to provide a platform for women from all registered political parties in Uganda to have a common voice on issues that affect their participation in political parties and politics in Uganda. #IWOP

The #InterPartyWomenPlatform is currently comprised of 9 registered political parties in Uganda Alliance for National Transformation ,Democratic Party ,FDC, Justice Forum (JEEMA) , Ecological party-Uganda (EPU), NRM Party, UFA, PPP, and UPC.

Earlier today, we held a constructive meeting with Minister of Justice & Constitutional Affairs Norbert Mao & discussed a range of cross-cutting issues affecting youth in politics. We presented our policy proposals for consideration, & demanded release of all political prisoners
