The 3 components of crisis management are an experienced team, a well-thought out strategy, & a well-trained well-equipped crew. Unfortunately, Mumbai is weak on all 3 counts. Read my article in The Wire on this. #OfficeofUT #AUThackeray #mybmc science.thewire.in/health/why-mum…

Pvt. hospitals have been left out in the COVID battle for way too long. When a big hospital, public/pvt gets involved, it still takes several weeks to optimise protocols handling COVID-19 pts. Tis the right time to involve Mumbai's best doctors. If not now when? Aaditya Thackeray

How a dedicated ICU team in a top Mumbai hospital can turn the tables on COVID..well done Dr Shruti Tandan MD(AIIMS), FNB and the entire Jaslok team.👍 Mumbai: 62-year-old man with several co-morbidities beats Covid-19 toi.in/aJUNRa22/a24gj via The Times Of India

Govt has failed to utilise the superior healthcare offered by pvt hospitals. BMC was sealing entire hospitals on identifying covid till just a week back. Thankfully माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC has realised its folly & has decided to seal parts rather than the whole hospital indianexpress.com/article/india/…

माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC . MUMBAI ICUs getting overwhelmed while the peak of the epidemic is yet to come. Rather than creating new "make-shift" facilities why not utilise the existing ones. Well done Dr Shruti Tandan MD(AIIMS), FNB and team. Very articulate and sp oi t on👍 youtu.be/3Ox1xVtm1zU

The govt capped charges may also be irrational and unrealistic. There needs to be a rational balance in charging and transparency in the billing. There are several unscrupulous profit making agencies in this pandemic. Who cares? माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC CMO Maharashtra

1/3. The question is: in the process of making health supplies available who should profit? Should not the profits be capped? If hospitals are getting PPEs at Rs 800, are they justified in charging 400% profit on these? Who answers these questions माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC CMO Maharashtra

Vibhor Pardasani (@pardasanivibhor) 's Twitter Profile Photo

CMOMaharashtra 2/3. Can the govt not take the matter in it's own hands? It can purchase approved PPEs and supply these FREE OF CHARGE to public & pvt health facilities thereby curbing excessive profit making at that level. माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC CMO Maharashtra

Vibhor Pardasani (@pardasanivibhor) 's Twitter Profile Photo

3/3 If the govt purchases are made transparent & put in public domain that would take away kickbacks to politicians & babus to a large extent. Ofcourse since this strategy cuts profits for all, there wont be any takers माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC CMO Maharashtra

As pointed out by Dr Shruti Tandan MD(AIIMS), FNB and as is common knowledge now that "mild" covid recovers in 7 days without any "specific" treatment; much like other viral illnesses. Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar has tested their drug on "MILD" covid patients. So what's the big deal #RamdevCoronaCure
